Television adaptation of a one-man show about the life and work of Edgar Allan Poe, written and performed by actor Robert V. Minford, then an instructor at the Baltimore Actors Theater Academy. Minford portrays a fictional friend of Poe who enters the author’s cottage shortly after Poe’s death, paying his last respects and reflecting on the kind of man Poe was. Included in the program are excerpts from Poe’s work.
