This is the premiere of this educational children's series that teaches numbers and the alphabet, along with social and cultural concepts, to preschoolers. It introduces some of the adult characters featured on the series as well as the Muppet characters Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Oscar the Grouch, Kermit the Frog, and Cookie Monster. Highlights include: a segment about the concept of "clean," in which Ernie leads a song about washing; a short film that investigates where milk comes from by visiting a dairy farm; a brief guest appearance by Carol Burnett; and Kermit's presentation of the letter W. Featured letters and numbers are W, S, E, 2, and 3.
