Muppet show: Bob Hope
- Date
1978
- Summary
-
Muppet show performers are in a state of anxiety when it appears that guest Bob Hope will not be able to appear on the show due to previous engagements. Highlights include a calypso number featuring Miss Piggy and an all-pig marimba band; the Swedish Chef fouling up a recipe for pressed duck; the melon-headed Dr. Bunsen Honeydew introducing the latest development in garbage disposal - a trash can that eats; a takeoff on the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young sixties protest song "For What It's Worth," performed by Muppet woodland animals attempting to hide from hunters in the forest; and Bob Hope as a cowboy with a wisecracking horse, singing "Don't Fence Me In."
