Lynda Clendenning, a librarian at the University of Maryland,  leads a group of clerical workers in their fight to earn salaries equal to those of male workers in comparable jobs. A discussion of this issue takes place between Linda Chavez, Executive Director of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, Winn Newman, a union attorney who has successfully argued pay equity cases and National Public Radio correspondent Nina Totenberg.Part of "America Works" series.
