Summary
"Freedom Station", a 1987 MPT drama about a runaway slave hidden in a Maryland Underground Railroad safe house featured a young Jada Pinkett, who grew up in Baltimore. The program won numerous awards including the 1988 Parents’ Choice Award. This clip was featured in the 50th anniversary exhibit, "Made Possible By Viewers Like You: Maryland Public Television Turns 50" in the Hornbake Library Maryland Room Gallery in 2019.
