An interview by John Davis with Jen Smith, a musician and and zine editor who published or co-published the punk zines titled "Red Rover," "Riot Grrrl," "Flamer," "Another Lo-Fi Xtravaganza," and others in the 1990s and into the 21st century. Smith was also a member of the bands Rastro!, the Quails, and Haymaker, among other projects. The interview was conducted in Los Angeles, California on January 2, 2019 and is part of a zine creators oral history series from the D.C. punk and indie fanzine collection at the University of Maryland's Special Collections in Performing Arts.
