This is a recording of Vice President Spiro T. Agnew's speech and following press conference at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California. During his speech, Vice President Agnew talks about the future of science and the benefits of space research for Earth's resources. He then answers questions on possible missions to Mars and defends the spending of the space program.
