Summary
Musical television special, hosted by and featuring Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. Miss Piggy (then just Piggy) appears for the first time on television as an aspiring singer whose agent tries to get her a record deal with Alpert. Other highlights from the show include: skits with Alpert and the Muppets; Alpert and the Tijuana Brass perform Spanish flea with Muppet dancers; guest, Lani Hall performs two songs including a duet with Alpert; and a Muppet interpretation of the music of Herb Alpert and the Tijauna Brass.
