Summary
A series of twelve vignettes aired hourly on the first anniversary of President Kennedy's assassination. In the first, Group W reporter Pete Clapper remembers his experience, sitting in the Senate news gallery when the news came. The rest are narrated by Jim Snyder and feature memories of that day – from start to finish – from Malcolm Kilduff, assistant White House Press Secretary; Jerry Ter Horst, Detroit News reporter; and Sid Davis, reporter for Group W.
