Classic blues, part 1 of 2, produced by Red Tape and the Feminist Radio Network, is a show about women including Bessie Smith, Ma Rainey, Victoria Spivey, Sippie Wallace, Ida Cox, and Chippie Hill who, among other women, created a musical style and tradition during the twenties known as the classic blues. The show discusses these women and their music, undated.
