Paul Porter telephone conversation with Katherine Anne Porter, May 27, 1975
After Paul Porter dials a wrong number and contacts an operator about it, the conversation with KAP begins. There is a gap at the beginning to allow KAP to rinse her hands. Topics of discussion include Paul's photographs of her, fashion and clothing, Covarrubias, her mental state circa 1968-1969 (nervous breakdown and suicidal thoughts), accidents caused by her kittens, Edna Edison, bullfighting, on her accomplishments as a writer, translations of her work, the passage of time, and saving money.
