Diane Betzendahl interviews Trudy Haynes, a Black news reporter and “Weather Girl” who worked at WCHB [or WCHW], in Inkster, Michigan, which was the first Black-owned and operated radio station in the north, as well as WXYZ television in Detroit, Michigan.
