Muppet show: Rita Moreno
Guest Rita Moreno begins the show with a dance routine set in a Parisian cafe with a life size Muppet as her partner. Other highlights: Rowlf the Dog, as orthopedic surgeon Dr. Bob, attempts to operate on a reluctant Fozzie Bear, the Swedish Chef flips flapjacks; Marvin Suggs performs "Lady of Spain" on his Muppaphone; Kermit moderates a panel discussion about the dying art of conversation which degenerates into a heated argument between Moreno and Miss Piggy; Moreno sings "Fever" while Animal's wild drumming threatens to upstage her.
