Summary
Statler and Waldorf take control of the show and perform a burlesque-style opening number, "Take Ten Terrific Girls," with a chorus line of Muppet show girls, while Fozzie Bear heckles them. Fozzie mistakenly introduces opera singer, Beverly Sills as the "Queen of Nashville," obliging her to sing a country-and-western song, "When the Bloom is on the Sage." At Muppet University, Sam the Eagle delivers a lecture about the microscopic wonders contained in a drop of water, and discovers Kermit the Protozoa and Fozzie the Amoeba. Sills appears in the opera "Pigaletto" with Miss Piggy and a cast of Muppet pigs from the Muppetopolitan Opera.
