Summary
Paul Porter recording of Katherine Anne Porter, made March 27, 1975, in her College Park apartment. Most of the narration centers on events of late December 1914-early January 1915. Porter describes her performances before rural Louisiana audience and a horseback trip she took on 31 December 1914-1 January 1915, including the people she met and experiences on the trip. She also discusses the dire situation of her sister Gay as well as Gay's husband and their baby son. In passing, she also mentions her divorce from John Henry Koontz, jobs she had in Dallas and New York city, and her paternal grandmother and father.
