Two telephone conversations with KAP recorded by Paul Porter. On October 21, 1974, they discuss photographs, pain medications, her secretary and housekeeper, KAP's "Notes on the Texas I Remember," an experience KAP had in Louisiana circa December 1914, Madame Calderon de la Barca, finances, and the U.S. economy. On November 16, 1974, they discuss the U.S. Postal Service; meals, recipes, and cooking; plans for Thanksgiving; the creche Paul is making for KAP; dreams; and publication of "Notes on the Texas I Remember."
