Recording of Katherine Anne Porter speaking at the Hotel Del Prado Cuarto 770, Mexico City, Mexico, November 27, 1964. Porter 's remarks include discussion of government and the arts as well as her life before coming to Mexico in 1920. She speaks briefly about her first visit to Mexico before turning to a discussion of her work on the exhibit of Mexican popular arts and crafts that was exhibited in Los Angeles in 1922 , for which she wrote the monograph. She asserts that it was reconstituted and shown in an international exposition in Paris in 1952.
