Summary
This is a recording of Vice President Spiro T. Agnew's acceptance speech after his nomination for re-election given at the Republican National Convention in Miami Beach, Florida. During his speech, Vice President Agnew talks about inflation, minorities, Vietnam, and progress. He then introduces President Richard Nixon who accepts his nomination for re-election. A commentator then begins to compare President Nixon's first acceptance speech in 1968 to his recent acceptance speech in 1972 and analyzes the President's and Vice President's remarks. The commentators interview Congressman William Steiger, who discusses his opinions on President Nixon. Following the interview is the nomination speech and four seconding speeches for the re-election of Vice President Agnew.
