Developing Stories: Lucia
Six hour-long programs offer viewers an opportunity to see the world through the eyes of film makers from the developing world, where environmental issues are seen as a matter of survival. This episode focuses on a Filipino family as a microcosm of despair and socio-economic disintegration. Lucia and her children come to Manila after an oil spill destroys their fishing village.
