Summary
In Virus hunter Robert C. Gallo discusses his research on the AIDS virus and the relationship between research and clinical practice. Digital diplomats discusses the International Communication and Negotion Simulation which is comprised of students at more than 40 colleges and universities in over 20 countries. An ICONS simulation places students in the role of negotiators in teams representing various countries. Mapping with a mouse discusses how Towson State University is using geographic information systems to create maps and assist Maryland counties in planning development. Higher learning discusses Bowie State University's Satellite Operations and Control Center where students get hands-on experience tracking satellites.
