Kennedy speaks before the 1961 Conference of United Press International Editors and Publishers at the Statler-Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC. says that after his meeting with Khrushchev, he is convinced that there is “no easy or quick solution for the difficult problems we face” and that the struggle with communism could continue for years. A question and answer period follows his speech. Herbert Gordon, announcer.
