Rescue at Sheppton, Pennsylvania, mine collapse
The roof of the Sheppton coal mine collapsed on August 13, trapping three men 300-feet underground. Two weeks later, two men were rescued by raising them through holes bored through solid rock. Paul Long, KDKA narrates a recap of the events. Two short news briefs from the hospital in Hazelton, PA follow (Bill Steinbock).
