Summary
A series of 14 programs by Maryland artists, including theater, classical ballet and contemporary dance, and a variety of music. The Baltimore-based Pickwick Players, founded in 1969, offered original musicals for children, with book and lyrics by Sarah Schlesinger and music by Michael Dansicker. The program offers excerpts from “Three-for-One,” short adaptations from the Brothers Grimm including “Hansel and Gretel” and “The Fisherman and his Wife.” Cast: Richard Bigelow, Nancy Cohen, Jeffrey Dekel, Ellen Firth. Director: Forest Gossage. Host: Jim Dale.
