Summary
This program contains two segments: Muppetelevision and The soldier and Death. In the first segment, Kermit and his television crew members clash over programming choices for the show, and Kermit is finally tricked into relinquishing control, with chaotic results. Highlights include: musical guests, the Nylons, performing The lion sleeps tonight; Fozzie Bear asks television weatherman Willard Scott for advice about becoming a 'weatherbear' and appears on the Today show with host Jane Pauley. In the second segment, the storyteller narrates the tale of a soldier who attempts to cheat death.
