NFCB marathon: WYEP, produced byWYEP, is a program aired during the National Federation of Community Broadcasters' nationwide radio marathon, an event in which noncommercial alternative radio stations across the United States stop regular programming to ask listeners to pledge funds to alternative and community stations. In this specific program from WYEP in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the station presents a recorded folk music performance by Bob Schmertz, Vivian Richmond, and friends previously aired in the WYEP variety show, as well as a segment of a previously aired radio drama written by Mark Simon called “Alls Well that Ends," circa 1976.
