Jeff Salkin hosts an "electronic town meeting" on Maryland's 1997 General Assembly. Various Maryland politicians comment on the income tax cut. Governor Parris N. Glendening has a discussion with several panelists from the Annapolis press corps and answers questions from the public. This is followed by a discussion with Speaker of the House Casper Taylor and President of the Senate Mike Miller. The program ends with another panel consisting of House Minority Leader Bob Kittleman, Delegate Nathaniel Exum, Ways and Means Chairman Barbara Hoffman, Senate Minority Leader Vernon Boozer, and Senator Ida Ruben.
