Male homosexual interview, part 1, is a discussion with a man identified only as "Al." Al discusses the ways in which homosexual individuals must hide part of their identity to gain acceptance with certain individuals, as well as the anxieties that arise from concealing homosexuality and acting to avoid suspicion. He also discusses terminology within the gay community, as well as his personal experience with self-acceptance and coming out, January 11, 1973.
