A tribute to David Zinman, music director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from 1985 to 1998, taped at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Zinman talks about his career and his success in making the BSO one of America’s major orchestras. Excerpts from previous performances are included, as well as interviews with pianist Emanuel Ax, violinist Pamela Frank, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, and members of the BSO. Host: Camilla Carr.
