Morgan Choir: A Joyful Celebration

Program highlights one of the nation's most prestigious university choral ensembles and salutes Dr. Nathan Carter, who led the choir for 33 years before his death in 2004. Returning alumni, including gospel artists Steven Jones and Sherry Hunt as well as choir alumni stars Ernest Saunders, Elizabeth Norman and Kishna Davis, swell the ranks of the choir to over 200 voices as they sing a diverse repertoire ranging from classical to gospel. As part of this musical tribute, interviews with alumni and Dr. Earl S. Richardson, president of Morgan State University, explore Dr. Carter's tenure at Morgan and the impressive accomplishments of the choir.
