Summary
The program gets off to a bumpy start when a jealous Miss Piggy locks Kermit in a trunk to prevent him from meeting guest Linda Ronstadt, who later frees Kermit and serenades him with "I've Got a Crush on You." Highlights include: Ronstadt sings "Blue Bayou" on a marshy plain, with softly croaking frogs and members of the Muppet band; Rowlf and a canine ensemble perform, "The Cat Came Back"; band member Janice and two other Muppets join Ronstadt for the girl-group song "It's in His Kiss"; Rowlf provides piano accompaniment for Kermit and Ronstadt as they sing the closing number, "When I Grow Too Old to Dream."
