Award-winning children's program that introduces children 4-6 to a variety of books through three cartoon-like characters: "Hector Projector" (voiced by David Landsberg); "Ethel Earphone" (Baltimore jazz singer Ethel Ennis), and "J. Worthington Book" was (Doug Roberts). 30 ten-minute color episodes were produced. Puppets designed by Bill Flaherty are featured (Allan Stevens and Baird Hoffmire, puppeteers).
