Summary
Paul Porter recording of Katherine Anne Porter, made March 27, 1975 in her College Park, MD, apartment. Most of the narration centers on events of late December 1914-early January 1915. Porter describes her performances before rural Louisiana audiences and a horseback trip she took on December 31, 1914-January 1, 1915, including the people she met and experiences on the trip. She also discusses the dire situation of her sister Gay as well as Gay's husband and their baby son. In passing, she also mentions her divorce from John Henry Koontz, jobs she had in Dallas and New York city, and her paternal grandmother and father.  [This is the most complete version of this narration.]
