Local response to 3-part PBS series "Learning in America: Education on Trial" (airing immediately after each episode) with panelists from area educational institutions and systems answering questions from reporter Jim Bohannon and viewers who call-in via a toll-free number. Guests are Dr. Spencer H. Holland of Morgan State University and Project 2000 (an effort to attract black male teachers to inner-city elementary schools) and Dr. Joyce Epstein, co-director of the Center on Families, Communities, Schools and Children's Learning at Johns Hopkins University. No opening credits; program begins with host waiting for his cue to start.
