Frank Kameny, significant Washington, D.C. gay activist starting in the 1950s, is interviewed by the company as research for "Shehechianu: Bench Marks." Discusses gay bars and cruising scene of Lafayette Park in the 1950s, his firing from his government position in 1957 leading to the first gay rights legal brief. Kameny's voice (possibly drawn from this interview) was used in the sound design for "Bench Marks."
