Summary
Oral history interview with Corwin D. Edwards conducted by Marlene Mayo on November 3, 1978. Corwin D. Edwards (November 1,1901 - April 21,1979) was born in Nevada, Missouri in 1902. He earned his doctorate in economics at Cornell University. After various jobs in the field, including teaching, Edwards became the head of the Mission on Japanese Combines, which was a State-War-Navy joint mission, in 1946. Once he returned to the United States, he continued to hold government jobs, including being an advisor to the U.S. delegation to the United Nations. He passed away in Texas in 1979.
