Robert Kennedy on Communist party and Subversive Activities Control Act of 1950
Attorney General Robert Kennedy makes a statement about the Communist party in America, which has failed to register under the 1950 Subversive Activities Control Act and concerns that the party was going underground. “In one area,” he says, “members were instructed to destroy all membership and financial records and to clean house from cellar to attic.” Remainder of the audio is classical music.
