In 1985, MPT launched the nationally renowned "On Stage at Wolf Trap" (1985-1989) in alliance with Wolf Trap National Park. Hosted by American soprano Beverly Sills, the series featured performers ranging from Ella Fitzgerald and Tony Bennett to Fabian and Frankie Avalon. This clip was featured in the 50th anniversary exhibit, "Made Possible By Viewers Like You: Maryland Public Television Turns 50" in the Hornbake Library Maryland Room Gallery in 2019.
