Muppet show: Elton John
Special guest Elton John opens the show with a performance of "Crocodile Rock," accompanied by members of the Muppet band and a quartet of crocodiles. Highlights include: the Swedish Chef has a culinary adventure with a renegade chicken; John performs "Bennie and the Jets" with a chorus of Muppets, and "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" with Sgt. Floyd Pepper, Zoot, Animal, and the rest of the Muppet band; Miss Piggy, Capt. Link Hogthrob, and Doctor Strangepork battle boredom in the ongoing saga "Pigs in Space"; and, in the finale, John and Miss Piggy sing "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart."
