Big John, The Fruit-Skid Prophet, produced by Elizabeth Strickling,is an interview with John Gilbert Collins, a"Fruit-Skid," or aman who spends some time as aworker picking fruitandsome time living in the impoverished area Skid Row. Collins isa self-proclaimed preacher and discusses his personal beliefs regarding life, faith, and his life of observation, circa 1975.
