Lifelines 6: Childbirth, December 12, 1980
Host Irene Sanders leads a discussion on the increasing number of choices available to women giving birth and how this reflects an evolution in ideas about childbirth. She interviews Dr. Richard B. Stewart, the head of a new birthing center in Douglasville, Georgia, two nurse-midwives, and a couple that has used the birthing center. She also interviews Dr. Haeberle, Chief OB-GYN at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia.
