Summary
Recording of Paul Porter conversation with Ann Hollaway Heintze and Katherine Anne Porter, May 13-14, 1974. Recording begins with a short exchange with KAP, followed by a short coversation with Ann Heintze. After that, there is a longer conversation with KAP in which they discuss health and doctors, experiences of cold horror, Mexican cooking and cuisine, possible republication of The Itching Parrot. In the second conversation, KAP and Paul Porter discuss Armand Thibault and his portrait of KAP, the creche Paul is making for KAP, cooking, growing herbs, and KAP's College Park apartment. After a gap, Paul reads and rereads lines from Lord Byron's "Remember Thee" and Garcia Lorca's "Llanto por Ignacio Sanchez Mejias" and another Garcia Lorca poem. Afterward he comments on poetry and on poetry recitations he observed in Mexico.
