Robyn Helzner, a leading interpreter of world Jewish music, sings songs about Chanukah in English, Hebrew, Yiddish, and Ladino. She talks about and is shown giving concerts in Moscow: clandestine in 1988, then openly in 1989, after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Parents and children describe what Chanukah means to them.
