This program provides a unique opportunity to see the late composer, John Cage, discuss favorite subjects such as harmony, chance, and the purpose of music. Cage recounts biographical anecdotes and describe the influence of Marcel Duchamp, Finnegans Wake, and Zen Buddhism on his compositions.
