Summary
Briefly examines the basic tools of navigation, such as the compass and gyroscope, and explains how modern ground, air, and space transportation utilize and depend on basic navigational tools and concepts. Emphasizes that the frontier of space will be a place where military security will be necessary, and the precise navigation of spacecraft will be very important. Presents the idea of a "satellite inspector" that will orbit the earth and destroy any;foreign objects perceived to pose a threat to the United States.
