Science reporter Jim Slade interviews Gemini project manager Charles Matthews; deputy manager Kenneth Kleinknecht; astronauts Virgil "Gus" Grissom and Ed White; Robert Gilruth, director of NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center; John Mayer, chief of flight planning at the Manned Space Center; Dr. Hans Clamann, Chief of Bioastronautics at the School of Aerospace Medicine; and Air Force Colonel Stanley White, M.D. Documentary focuses on how Gemini differs from the previous Mercury flights and how it prepares for the subsequent Apollo program.
