Summary
Edward R. Murrow, broadcast journalist and war correspondent, resigned from CBS to accept a position as head of the United States Information Agency, parent of the Voice of America, in January 1961. Ann M. Corrick and Jim Snyder interview Murrow about the world's reaction to the U.S. resumption of nuclear testing. Asked how persuasive his organization is on its target audience, Murrow responds, "We have no rating service in connection with our broadcasts, our films or our television productions."
