Summary
Two-hour program about the problem of crime, prisons and recidivism in Maryland. A panel discussion follows three short documentaries: (1) a profile of three repeat offenders; (2) a close-up of the Habitual Offenders Unit of the State's Attorney's' Office in Baltimore City, focused on juvenile offenders; and (3) an interview with Kent Mason, who developed and managed the Montgomery County Pre Release Center where inmates receive vocational and educational training, job placement services and counseling.
