Afghanistan: The land and people, part 2, produced by Bridget Dennis and Sheila Rubin, is a program about Afghanistan, observing the region's history from 1742 to 1980, as well as subjects including the role of the family, the status of women, the educational system, and political developments during recent years in Afghanistan. The program also contains interviews with people from Afghanistan alongside excerpts of writing, traditional stories, and music from the Afghanistan, December 1, 1981.
