1970 marked MPT’s first foray into public policy programming with the aim of engaging Maryland voters and candidates in dialogue. The first weekly public affairs series was "Maryland Newswrap" (1975-1987). This clip was featured in the 50th anniversary exhibit, "Made Possible By Viewers Like You: Maryland Public Television Turns 50" in the Hornbake Library Maryland Room Gallery in 2019.
