Chesapeake Bay Cooking with John Shields: Reedville, Virginia, April 28, 1998. Host John Shields heads to Reedville, Virginia to celebrate the Fourth of July. The program begins with a short history of the city and a demonstration of how to make shortcake. Shields visits with Beverly Biddlecomb of Reedville, who demonstrates how to make Lady Liberty Seafood Salad, and her brother-in-law, Ray Rogers, shows him his garden. Shields watches a local parade and participates in two-step dancing, then goes on a fishing trip and picnic with the Biddlecomb family.
